Mortgage rates on the rise

-- This week, the average rate on a 30-year, fixed mortgage passed the 4 percent mark for the first time since last October. While mortgage rates have recently been at an all time low, they are now expected to rise to about 4.25 percent by the end of the year. This sudden rise is partly due to an improving economy and housing market.

Mitt Romney jumps on Santorum comments

ILLINOIS -- Early Monday morning, Rick Santorum said "I don’t care what the unemployment rate’s going to be. It doesn’t matter to me." while campaigning in Moline, Ill. Later that day, Romney jumped at the opportunity to use these remarks against Rick Santorum, stating that he does care about the unemployment numbers.
